Gentle Wisdom
I love the way Martha unpacks the most complex of ideas and simplifies them so we can gain some inner peace and growth. I recently read The Way of Integrity: Finding the path to your true self and it changed my life. I quickly started following this pod cast and that unpacking has continued. Martha not afraid to voice ideas that might seem in contrast to a way of life we have been led to believe is ‘ideal’. For example explaining that life is full of happy moments but also is going to include some down moments and that this is all a normal cycle - going with the flow is going to be more enjoyable than fighting that flow. While that might seem simple, the notion that we must always be happy and seeking an ideal life is impossible and can cause us so much unnecessary grief. This kind of ‘gentle wisdom’ makes us more grateful and ready to experience all the bits of life - the good the bad and the ugly - to really live and be present and aware - not spend days or weeks lamenting so unrealistic ideal. It helped me come to the realisation that some of the yucky bits of my life have been the meatiest - when I was truly living and these moments have been where the growth was! It has changed my whole outlook and mindset - to taste all that life has to offer and to fear less and live more. If you are seeking some clarity or resilience - listen to Martha. Thank you so much Martha. xx

Great content that suffers from distraction when the host frequently takes big, very loud gulps of water. Really takes you out of the moment.

I find myself waiting for every episode and sometimes having to listen more than once, just because it is soooo good. Thank you Martha. With love.
