Strict adventure
Pathfinder characters go on adventures in rather grim surroundings. GM Troy sets a tight framework and is not having any of what he considers silly game mechanics - no resting in dungeons, no careful looting on the battlefield. Players are enthusiastic about flavour and personality. Players and GM are amusingly adversarial outside the game. It’s exciting and moving, but it’s not the emo drama of other rpg podcasts. The Pathfinder played is so similar to D&D, it barely feels different.
