Shoots and Misses.
Andy Walker, Peter Grant and Barry Ferguson are the sole reasons to listen. All three are forthright, considered and lacking in pretension. As a rule of thumb; If they’re not on don’t bother. Paul Cooney is a harmless enough host. Rob McLean seems to have departed. Mark Guidi still doing that passive/aggressive thing he brought to and thankfully took from the far better SSB on Clyde 1. And to this they’ve added no one’s favourite: Kenny Miller. This man is, perplexingly, currently ubiquitous in Scottish football coverage. No one I’ve asked is quite sure why. He makes the Kardashian Klan seem underexposed. And like the eponymous sisters, his contributions rarely reach beyond the level of clichéd banality. ‘A luv the Ranjurs’ is about the gist of most of it. An ability to play football does not necessarily translate into the ability to talk about football.
