Nobody Does It Better
Setting themselves an extraordinary mission to cover in some detail the music and career of the absurdly talented Jerry Goldsmith in an almost chronological order, Yavar, David and Clark excel in reigniting my own passion for Jerry’s monumental body of work. I was lucky enough, as the director’s assistant on LINK, to get to see the man at work and share a drink or two with him. This wonderful celebration of his legacy is more than a tribute. It’s a passionate and knowledgable examination of an artist whose work rewards such close scrutiny. It’s also the only podcast I can hum to knowing Jerry’s oeuvre relatively well - though not as well as the Odyssey team. Bravo! Keep going!!!
