Description
Keeper Of The Greens is proudly brought to you by Colin Campbell Chemicals. Click on their name and it will take you straight to their website for more information. It's time to visit the Apple Isle for only the second time since starting Keeper Of The Greens and I'm very excited to be visiting another "Royal" golf club. Shaun Bowden is the Superintendent of Royal Hobart Golf Club and comes with a load of experience from working on numerous high profile golf courses on the east coast of Australia and under some of the country's esteemed Superintendents. I'm sure you'll enjoy this conversation I have with Shaun as I discover how it was "luck" that got him into greenkeeping after a life changing turn away from professional sport. Shaun soon decided that if he was going to do greenkeeping, then he was all in! Fast forward from learning his skills and knowledge from some of the best turf managers in Australia, Shaun now heads up the team that maintain the course at Royal Hobart Golf Club in Tasmania. The only Tasmanian golf club to have hosted the men's Australian Open. You hit 'em clean and we'll keep 'em green!
