“just listened to the mega episode featuring RFU and PL heads….whilst both Alex and James do ask a number of intelligent questions I feel they let Simon and Bill off with their upfront dismissal of the recent DCMS Committee and their assessment….and the papers simply reported the scathing report ..no distortions..
Both Simon and Bill could talk forever about how ‘challenging ‘ their jobs are ….however in life real leaders can succinctly explain their vision and bring people with them…
I dont think I’ve heard such a corporate ‘word salad’ in any podcast let alone one about the game of rugby…’narrative’ , ‘massive’ , ‘brilliant’, ‘data’ , ‘digital’…blah blah….
If anything James and Alex should take the operational roles on and make change happen…”
