Anousheh Ansari grew up in Iran before moving to the US as a teenager, where she studied electrical engineering and computer sciences. She would go on to co-found a telecommunications company,  sell it for over half a billion dollars, become the first female tourist on the International Space Station, and run XPrize, which she continues to do to this day as CEO.
