“I enjoyed this podcast on my drive home after a full day of teaching our youth at the secondary level. I found the tenets of the conversation vital reminders of how we must live our lives especially in our current climate. As teachers and activists, we use artistic mediums such as literature, film, music to enlighten and inspire children through greater teachings inherent in the art itself. In this podcast, Oprah is that medium. As a humanitarian she reminds us to listen, that at the base of all of this, life is simple. Rather than direct the conversation with my four and two year old sons tonight, I listened. They led. I learned. Her ending postulate is exquisite. On a tough night, I may fast forward to it. I’ll have Oprah lull me to sleep with her words, beautiful as sky.”
