But hear me out: adding in a random aside about how teenage pranks in the 1950s would have ended differently for poor blacks than rich whites turns a serious topic that deserves a podcast of its own into just that. A random aside about an underprivileged group in a rich white person’s story. By paying your dues at the sitar of Wokeness, you are cheapening the very story you try to elevate.
Please, knock it off. If you want to talk about the plight of blacks in the 1950s, give that story it’s own podcast where you can actually tell THEIR story, instead of making it a footnote in someone else’s.”
