It isn't just the colours
that the chamelons mimic. Its our minds too. The way their skin changes to match the visible spectrum of their surroundings, so too, do their actions and outlooks contort to any psyche they encounter. A world outlook which we brought onto them, with our weapons and our settler mindset. They only show us what we are at our best.
