“The first, and most important, thing to know about The Great Song Podcast, is that Rob and J.P. Come across as genuinely nice, kind guys. They definitely become old friends of yours as you listen through the episodes.
The format of each episode is really fun and not just a chronological listen-through of the song or album. The level of research Rob and JP put into each episode is amazing. They are prepared and very organized with their material.
While I don’t know anything about music theory, Rob’s breakdown of the various elements of each song are really fun to listen to and have educated me quite a bit.
Their interviews are terrific and it is really cool to see the level of interview guest they continue to achieve.
If you want a nice, easy listen with two hosts who are easy to like and make each episode journey fun this is your podcast.
