“Hey GRIZ, I was walking to the store yesterday with my younger brother and I felt a pressing need to have a conversation about the importance of having a real heart-faith (as you may have worded it) relationship with the Son of God Jesus Christ. I just wanted to explain to him some of the reasons why I believed and knew that not only was there a God, but it was specifically the man John the baptist spoke of who would come and be greater than he. I mentioned basic truths like the fact that something can never come from nothing amongst other things. However, I also mentioned the fact that the entire PLANET felt it pertinent to keep track of time based on the impact He was able to have on the earth. Today, I listened to “Ep.49 - Be still and know He is God”. And I didn’t even realize that through the entirety of the episode, you had been speaking on the exact same things I had been with my brother only hours before, until around the 23 minute mark, you, almost verbatim had given one of the exact reasons that I had to my brother about the calendar. You called it the Jesus effect. I was speechless on my ride home, only to end up running into my brother as soon as I got off the transit and as he was leaving his friend group from school.. Your podcast is Spirit-filled, Raw and Biblically-based and a tool everyone can use on their daily walk. I’m especially appreciative of your “mans-man” approach through your own journey and lessons and Jesus-Defined manliness. I really enjoyed your podcast before today, but I’m even more excited to see what God has next. And P.s I had that episode downloaded for weeks before listening to it today. God Bless GRIZ.
