Wide-ranging feminist engagement
I had such a narrow view of feminism - white, middle class and able-bodied - before I started listening to The Guilty Feminist. I still have a way to go, but I find myself much more aware of problematic issues that are relevant to everyday life. This episode about visibility resonated especially well, as a woman in a male dominated field I am acutely aware of how much harder I have to work to be noticed. Here’s hoping the show keeps going exactly as long as it’s needed.
