“Shawn is great. Lou is goofy. This isn't a dry "shill your latest book/project" interview show and it's not "morning show banter".
They get a wide variety of guest from the heart and the periphery of baseball and get great alternative takes out of pretty much every guest. My favorite guests have been the people more on the fringe as the HoF guys tend to be so well rehearsed and don't like to go off script. Jeff Pearlman is a must listen. Julie DiCaro, Timothy Busfield, Kevin Mitchell, Jim Kaat, and Jeff Katz are all great shows.”
