History
I have seen much of the cinematic creation referred to (so far) and perhaps that is why I find this pcast informative & interesting. The musical backgrounds and foul language I can deal with; makes it less formal, academic. The brief interstitials intended as informative fail, replete with electronica and edited-in comments from current cinema (Fritz Lang episode 1.3 for ex). Get with the period: Weill, Schulhoff,...plenty of period appropriate degenerate music. Pronunciation of foreign terms is error-prone, which matters to, ahem, scholars. Anyone that listens to this qualifies. P.S. Giorgio Moroder’s music is an abomination, in no way suited to Metropolis...nor much else.

Wanted to. But disco synth music in the background was just too annoying.

Perfectly produced and an excellent weaving of history and film.

Super well researched and fine tuned. I could listen to way more than the six episodes - hoping for more!
