Tessa James interview falling short
I’m an avid listener however I was really disappointed with the interview with Tessa. It almost felt like she did not want to be interviewed and Madelyn ended up doing much of the taking about her own experiences to fill in the noticeable lack of enthusiasm. Even when it came to the whole point of the interview to talk about James Wellness she didn’t elaborate on what it offered or how it differentiated from every other person/product in the wellness space. It would have been much more informative if she expanded about what the space is to share stories (blog, website, app) and what products she actually has created??? I also found she never went into too much depth about her life. Not that she needs to share intimate details with the listeners but I came away feeling like when asked about her family or cancer she would give flowery vague answers which Madelyn would then jump in on the finish off. It was also strange she only ever referred to her family by my ‘son’ and ‘husband’ and wouldn’t say their real names. If you are too cagey to say a name maybe you’re in the wrong business or better suited to behind the scenes not the face of a company. Sorry to be so negative but I feel like this interview should have been scrapped.

A great podcast for listeners who have found themselves in a health slump! I was feeling very unmotivated and started getting into old bad habits again. I started listening to Maddy and her guests and bam! My motivation has returned! Amazing line up of inspirational guests with so much knowledge....Read full review »
