“I just recently started really listening to actual play podcasts. I found HLP after listening to 3 or 4 other podcasts. I was instantly hooked. They have a great chemistry together, Their characters are detailed, unique and interesting. The story they are telling is compelling. Griff is an amazing GM, Story teller, Voice man. I love that he will allow rule changes, events and fluff that make the game fun. also, the Zone of Truth show, is a refreshing look at the behind the scenes activities, Steve and Griff do an excellent zone, teaching about podcasting, talking about their passions and in general are just entertaining.
On an additional note, The podcast isnt it stops. whether on their subreddit, twitter or discord, all the cast members are down to earth and amazing people to talk to and get to know. If you have any questions about their show or pathfinder, or just need help with your character they are more than willing to help.
all of the above mentioned reason are why this podcast has become my favorite and after talking with these amazing people i know they will only continue to be successful and bring out amazing content!
