There is one specific type of salon that is the most difficult in the world to manage. The type of salon I'm talking about is a "quiet one"! We all go through those days or occasional weeks when we have quiet times. This is completely normal because business always happens in cycles of being busier and then quieter. We have busier days and quieter days every week and we have busier months and quieter months every year. But knowing this doesn't help with the frustration of having team members sat in the backroom, mindlessly surfing the web waiting for 5pm so they can go home. We feel the low energy and boredom from our usually upbeat team. So what can we do about it?
