“I am listening to Ryan’s podcast at the recommendation of my son , who loves them, in preparation for our upcoming trip to Greece. Our trip includes driving from Athens through the Peloponnese , central and northern Greece. Ryan’s all encompassing approach to Ancient Greek history discusses many of the places we will be visiting. The podcasts paint a picture in my mind of a people and their lives in a way that will help me place what I see in Greece in the larger context of what was happening politically, spiritually , economically and in relation to natural and man made disasters . I highly recommend Ryan’s podcasts for anyone with who wants to learn more , not only about Ancient Greece but about the origins of so much in our own lives. If ever there was a time to understand what forces led us to where we sit in history and where we may be headed it is now.”
