“On paper this is gold but the producers have got to rein in Jeff’s interruptions. As a huge curb fan I’ll still listen to every episode but I find myself yelling at the speaker every time Jeff cuts off Susie. “Wait! Hold on! By the way, you skipped past something!” Susie, a patient saint dutifully pauses her flow. All for Jeff to reveal that the thing she missed was an inane observation about the lighting (he wants us to know he has set-production chops) or the actor was somebody he got in from his improv days and that they’re a darling (he wants us to know he’s magnanimous) or that it was his line that he fed Larry and Larry was in hysterics about this all day (he wants us to know he’s a comedy genius too). This is literally 10 times per episode. Yeesh. Jeff, lay off the coffee before recording and ask Larry to lend you his mantra or something, please.”
