Goes deeper than my Uni class did
I am totally enjoying both the clear explanations and thorough depth of these podcasts. I particularly appreciate how they go back into the Indo-European origins of the language. I just hope they will consider the international uses of English in the 21st century and the many pidgin-creole languages that developed during colonialism. I am learning far more from this podcast than I did from my History of the English classes at university. A university course built around this podcast would be amazing.
