“Truthfully, I have struggled with my role as a homemaker for the last 16 years, not because I didn’t want this role, but rather because of the pressure of society to do more. That our worth comes from how much dollars we can make or how successful we are outside of the home. After building a successful business from home and mis managing my time and priorities, God began pulling my heart back into his word and into my home. From the outside I looked like I had it all: Great kids, thousands of followers online, booming beauty biz, well manicured acreage, and fit body, but inside I was crumbling with anxiety, losing sleep and slowly losing a grip on my health and home. Anyways, I am now a full time homemaker, homesteader and home schooling mama. I let go of my business (not saying that we can’t have both, but in this season God wants me purely in my home) This podcast was honestly like meeting up with the home making friends I always wanted! These women helped me to see how important my role is within my home and community, even if I’m not making the biggest pay checks of my life. Thank you for this beautiful encouragement! I listen to this podcast all the time and I am so excited to see new episodes coming in!”
