“I really liked Howie’s podcast BUT I stopped listening 👎🏻 Most of these names spark no interest for me (30yo male, played rugby for 10 years). This podcast typifies the problem with Australian media in sports. There are Australian athletes in boxing, MMA, CrossFit and plenty more sports yet they get no shine, no spotlight in the sports media coverage but we get AFL, NRL and cricket rammed down our throats. These less glorified athletes are WORLD champions! Would love to see Howie broaden his horizons and speak to athletes a wider audience actually cares about. And agree with other comments, when it’s a sports you don’t know (which only seems to be AFL & Cricket) you seem to have no baseline knowledge…aren’t you a sports journalist?”

“Howie obviously has a lot of great sporting contacts, because he is getting the big-names to appear on his podcast. Each episode is a casual chat and great listening. Keep a finger on the volume dial, because the levels can go up and down, apart from that I love listening to the Howie Games”
