“I really like the upbeat vibe of this show and the way host Jermaine Fowler takes such enjoyment in his intellectualism and discoveries about history and share this like a happy secret with the audience—which is a nice departure from the anti-intellectualism so prevalent in American culture. Learning is fun—engaging a wider perspective is fun! I enjoy too how varied his sources are for inspiration. I’ll keep listening. I also like the musical interludes between segments.”
