Such a fun representation of history
I really like the upbeat vibe of this show and the way host Jermaine Fowler takes such enjoyment in his intellectualism and discoveries about history and share this like a happy secret with the audience—which is a nice departure from the anti-intellectualism so prevalent in American culture. Learning is fun—engaging a wider perspective is fun! I enjoy too how varied his sources are for inspiration. I’ll keep listening. I also like the musical interludes between segments.

I read history books for fun. I enjoy history podcasts, especially well researched ones and even more so when delivered with passion. If you were raised in the american education system there are many empty holes in your history. This podcast helps you fill them in. Enjoy.
