“I have so much appreciation for Tory Elleto’s IG (#NYTherapist) - and now her podcast!!! Both are so clearly articulated and transformative. There is a take away every time. I am discovering so much about myself, my relationships, and how to best support my children. I was over the moon when I heard there would be a podcast and this one is spot on. As I become more aware of patterns and wounds that need healing, I’m eager to learn tips on how. For example, a parent who placed worthiness on having a fit, thin body so that I now tie my worth to the number on the scale(skinny is happy, heavy is failing)…. I understand the wound now and how it manifests - I have strong triggers around body image stuff - now, what are a few actions I can take to untangle? How do I start unknotting my worth from how my body looks, and how my parents think my body looks. Can’t wait to learn. Will also be tuning in on 12/4 webinar I’m sure there will be action steps discussed then. Thank you Tory I think you’re amazing”
