“Season 1 of The Imperfection sets up a larger mystery than the characters imagined, as the question of “Where is Dr Stadler?” leads to more questions about who they are and what their place in the world is. It’s a riveting show, and passes quickly because of the protagonists Charlie and Amber’s quick wit and funny takes on their own mental illness, which involves hallucinations… or does it?
Season 1 is relatively short, and doesn’t have many ads except at the beginning of episodes. I’m hopeful about a season 2, given how this show has won acclaim, but in any event it’s a fun, off beat, and sometimes heartfelt show in itself… plus spiders!”
