“Justin Decloux and Will Sloan offer a genuinely insightful podcast. The description promises high art to film trash and they deliver perfectly. The diversity of subject matter has provided me with a much broader understanding of what cinema is and can be. The discussions always treat the filmmakers and films at hand with the sincerity and seriousness they deserve yet never descend into snobbery on the one hand or letting poor films off the hook, on the other. The podcasts themselves give off the air of listening to two very knowledgable friends. in the best sense of the word. I enjoy putting these on in the background while I’m doing work but the conversations always draw me in and I end up deservedly giving it my full attention. They’ve introduced me to a lot of great filmmakers I never would have heard of and manage to always throw in a few real laugh out loud moments. Do yourself a favour and give them a listen.”
