An automotive consultant based in Paris, Gautam Sen has been involved in the design and development of several vehicles, including the first Indian sports car, the San Storm, for San Motors, Bangalore. For some of these projects he collaborated with renowned car designers: Gerard Godfroy, Tom Tjaarda and Marcello Gandini. As well as founding four magazines (Indian Auto, Auto India, TopGear India and the Indian edition of auto motor & sport), Sen has authored several books: The Automobile: An Indian Love Affair, Tom Tjaarda: Master of Proportions, The Bertone Collection, Marcello Gandini: Maestro of Design, The Car Design Book, Ballot, The Maharajas & Their Magnificent Motor Cars, etc.
