“I used to really enjoy listening to this podcast until the episode on “greedflation”—company greed causing inflation in the economy. Although the hosts note this is not a mainstream view held by most economists, the content just irked me. At least interview another economist to provide the opposing viewpoint and provided a fairer representation. As an economist, I would say the story of inflation is far more nuanced and complex than some of your episodes would suggest. Do the world some justice by not explaining inflation dynamics in a way that just confirms your priors.”
