Listen now
Description
What does it take to break a Guinness world record? For Helmy Elsaeed it’s a mix of perseverance, curiousity, and a constant desire for self-betterment. Born in Egypt, Helmy studied at Concordia where his fascination for winter sports led him to train in cross-country skiing, in hopes of becoming one of Egypt's few Winter Olympic athletes. Helmy's need to push boundaries left him with a desire to beat world records. This culminated in him and his team broking the world record for the fastest time biking across Europe, one of the few records Helmy is looking to beat. Now Helmy is back home in Egypt aways on the lookout for his next big project.
