Independent gay author David Menon, who has written more than 20 novels in the crime genre, has a new book available for preorder. The novel, titled Uncle Dad is the story of a gay man living in Melbourne who tries to fulfill his sister’s dying wish to adopt her two children, but finds himself facing challenges both with his partner who doesn’t want to raise kids, and the law which says that a single gay man cannot adopt children except in exceptional circumstances. The Informer sat down with David Menon to talk about his new book and why you should read it.
