Really disappointing
They interviewed John Dowd for the inaugural episode and he was borderline incoherent. He said many blatantly false things and the interviewers did not challenge him on any of them. The hosts then had a shallow discussion with almost no analysis or insight, largely parroting Dowd’s erroneous points. I had hoped this podcast would shed some additional light on the investigation (as the title would suggest) but they showed almost no specific knowledge. They even quoted the “Trump figure” (their words) for how much the Mueller investigation has cost without fact-checking or mentioning that Mueller has seized property from Manafort that has more than paid the bill. Just a really disappointing lack of investigative interest and knowledge that really doesn’t offer much for anyone, no matter how closely (or not) they have been following Mueller’s work.

Good background information and fresh sound. Worth listening to if you want to know what’s going on behind the scenes 👍🏻

Meanwhile in setting up the episode the “journalists” laugh and joke about the treasonous criminal...Read full review »
