“Here is what I love about this podcast. I love the fact it is a niche podcast. It covers Invincible and other Skybound related things. I love this podcast for continually discussing the art. I feel like the artist is often overlooked and the focus goes solely to the writer. But these guys consistently recognize Ryan Ottley for the storytelling and visual brilliance he brings to the book. I love the fan spotlights. It is nice to hear how other fans experienced Invincible for the first time. Which issue they cracked open first. When you hear someone has been reading Invincible since issue 23 or 12; it’s like meeting a vampire who has been around since the Vikings. I love hearing the new reader experiences. They make me think back to my own initial reactions to various moments in Invincible. Like what I felt during the fight with Conquest or when Atom Eve and Mark finally got together. It is also funny to hear them say Issue 100 was not as big a deal because they did not have to wait a month for it to come out. The only bummer is this podcast is every two weeks. I wish it was weekly. I think there are enough Invincible Fans and content out there to make it weekly. For example, Ryan Ottley’s Death Grub and Ted Noodleman. Kirkman’s run on Marvel Zombies, Antman or Destroyer (Art by Corey Walker). Anyway, if you are reading this you are a fan or want to know more about Invincible. So definitely hit subscribe.”
