Genuinely essential listening whether you are Irish or not!
This is an absolute GEM of a podcast. I am addicted! The hosts have great, effortless chemistry - not always found in podcast-land - and are both highly knowledgeable about their subject. I would especially recommend the Famine and the Catholic Church episodes for the depth to which these mind blowing subjects are explored, but every ep is exceedingly well researched and presented, and keeps the listener happily hooked. Truly I could listen to this every day, and I’m only slightly Irish! Keep up the fantastic work, please! And thank you so much- from a devoted listener.

Really has glimpses of greatness. Naomi is fabulous. But it try’s cramming too much into too little time. Still, probably in my top 10 podcasts of 2017.

Recommend this heartily for any curious exiles, blood-irish (like me) & anyone who wants to understand why the UK mis-read/didn't consider the importance of Eire in the brexit mayhem.Read full review »
