Stunning insights into life here in Ireland
Well researched topics with well selected contributors and interviewees. The podcasts are a great contribution to current debates and issues that effect Ireland but also digging deep into their historical roots. They are at just the right length, but I often wish they would be longer as the depth of investigation is so fascinating. While often pitched at listeners with limited background knowledge of current affairs in Ireland, the casts are just as relevant to anyone living and being engaged in cultural and political life in the Republic, given their depth and thoroughness. Having lived both in Northern Ireland and the Republic, I can say that of the range of topics covering the two regions is as well balanced and as impartial as you would expect from journalists living in the State. Personal opinions rarely feed into the casts, but when they do, they are well informed and acceptable for this medium. Delivery is casual, informal, yet confident and knowledgeable. Podcasting at its best!

Hugely informative, an in depth look at contemporary Irish culture underpinned with historical context, great presenters, research and interviews in every episode. My current favourite podcast.
