Episode 116: Introduction To Enterprise Technology Management
Listen now
Description
AJ Witt from The ITAM Review & Andy Mitchell from Oomnitza discuss the opportunities offered by the implementation of Enterprise Technology Management (ETM). Enterprises have always had core systems to provide support for mission-critical functions. Examples include CRM systems such as Salesforce, financial systems such as Netsuite, or HCM systems such as Workday. What has been missing from this is the equivalent for technology, and this is where Enterprise Technology Management tools and processes can help. ETM lets organizations automate IT processes through the asset lifecycle, from purchase through end-of-life – leveraging their existing systems and tools. This allows IT leaders to have greater oversight over the technologies, budget, and resources supporting their business, while empowering IT personnel to gain operational efficiencies and reduce mundane tasks.
