Rabbi Daniel Lapin, known world-wide as America’s Rabbi, is a noted rabbinic scholar, popular international speaker and best-selling author. He hosts the Rabbi Daniel Lapin podcast and for many years co-hosted the Ancient Jewish Wisdom TV Show on the TCT network with his wife, Susan. He is one of America’s most eloquent speakers and his ability to extract life principles from the Bible and transmit them in an entertaining manner, thus improving peoples’ finances, family, and community life has brought countless numbers of Jews and Christians closer to their respective faiths. Pairing his inheritance as a descendant of a multi-generational rabbinical family with his background in science and business, he teaches ancient Jewish wisdom in an unparalleled manner. Rabbi Daniel and Susan Lapin coined the phrase ancient Jewish wisdom to describe the oral transmission first conveyed from God to Moses at Mount Sinai. This transmission has been faithfully passed down through the generations and much of it is revealed in the original Hebrew of the Torah. Through his teachings, Rabbi Lapin provides access to all who wish to benefit from this treasure trove. Early life and education Daniel Lapin is uniquely positioned as a teacher of ancient Jewish wisdom. He was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to a family of Lithuanian Jewish descent. His father, Rabbi A. H. Lapin, a nephew of Rabbi Elya Lopian 1872-1970, served as a prominent and outspoken Orthodox rabbi in Johannesburg and Cape Town, and eventually established an Orthodox synagogue (Am Echad) in San Jose, California. Daniel Lapin studied in yeshivas in Gateshead and Israel, spending time with his great-uncle, and emigrated to the United States in 1973 where together with columnist Michael Medved, he founded the Pacific Jewish Center, a ground-breaking synagogue in Venice, California that encouraged thousands of young Jews to embrace their heritage. In 1992, he and his family relocated to Washington State where he began his work strengthening the Judeo-Christian roots of this country by writing, speaking and standing shoulder to shoulder with prominent Christian leaders, leading to the establishment of the American Alliance of Jews and Christians. Current His latest projects, along with his wife Susan, include the production of online courses that present thousands of years of Jewish wisdom emanating from the Bible, in ways that impact and improve modern-day life as well as their newest book, The Holistic You: Integrating your Family, Faith, Finances, Friendships, and Fitness. His other best-selling books include, Thou Shall Prosper: Ten Commandments for Making Money, cited by Dave Ramsey as one of his top 10 business books and translated into several languages around the world, as well as its sequel Business Secrets from the Bible: Spiritual Success Strategies for Financial Abundance. Rabbi Lapin and Susan founded Lifecodex Publishing in which they produce audio and video teachings and write books to make ancient Jewish wisdom accessible to people of all faiths. Lifecodex Publishing also publishes works by other authors that promote traditional Biblical values. In addition to writing their regular columns, Thought Tools, Ask the Rabbi, and Susan’s Musings, as well as taping Rabbi Lapin’s weekly podcast (available on multiple platforms) they are deeply involved in their membership site,
