“I don’t mind people not liking BTS, it happens and nobody likes all the same things. But this is just ignorant and just plain hate for no real reason. Can’t people just say they dislike something without all the hate? BTS writes their own music—except their English songs —though RM does have writing credits for Butter. And they came from a small indie label and were major underdogs in the Korean music scene. They grew from their hard work and talent from the bottom up. I wouldn’t label them a boy band—that’s westerners labeling them that way. They have a lot of hip hop music, and pop as well. Maybe you should listen to them rap. I recommend for rap: Ugh!, Daechwita, Joke, Outro: Tear, Ddaeng!. Other songs: Mic Drop, The Truth Untold, ON, IDOL, Dope, Burning Up (Fire).”
