“I used to listen to John Campea back in 2006 or so, when he was doing The Movie Blog.
Today, I discovered this podcast and was looking forward to touching base with John again. Instead, I found myself eduring what felt like an hour-long rant about how 'Batman v. Superman' negatively affected the box office of 'Captain America: Civil War'. Ugh. This isn't film criticism; this has become a narcissitic film-nerd soapbox lecture. Maybe John needs someone like Doug Nagy to keep him from taking himself / his opinions too seriously.”
