I did have a question about designing your own workout program pertaining to 3x week. I understand your split includes an upper body, lower body, and full body days.
But, with this split, do you only use a total of 3 workouts for all weeks? OR is there any form of alternating workouts like you do for the 4x/week split? For example Week 1 includes Upper body A; week 2 includes an upper body B (that is a totally different workout from week one) and then week 3 is back to Upper body A again…
After following you for a while and also listening to this episode, I was attempting to create my own strength training program with a 3x/week split, however I was finding that I don’t have enough “time” to include all the exercises that I do enjoy (Especially for lower body). So that is how my question formed. I know you said that total body is tricky to program and hopefully you talk more about that in the next episode.
