Half the story
The reason these podcasts are only 20 minutes is because they tell only half the story. The podcasters at WSJ apparently didn’t get the memo that these aren’t op-eds, routinely putting a lefty slant on news stories. I guess they figure young people get their news via podcast and they need to appeal to that demographic. Overall, a disappointing product, and listeners should take what they hear with a big shaker of salt.

A refreshing approach to today’s issues without the bias. The host is hitting each topic with a poignant touch that tells me what’s happening without telling me how to feel. Highly recommend!

It has potential, but it is trying too hard to be like a NYT or NPR podcast, with overly produced bumper music and so forth. The topics are interesting but I keep wishing they went more in depth.
