Surprisingly Refreshing
I admit this wasn’t my first or second choice, but, I kid you not as I started listening I actually really enjoyed it. This is the grown up version of Kate and her awesome sister Sophie. This is a extremely close knit family and at the heart of it is the mum… enter Amy, nobody’s fool and fiercely protective of her family. Amy tells us about her fight with her illness and her true warrior spirit, getting a new lung at almost the 12th hour. We also find out that mother Amy tells it like it is and tells her kids off regardless of age bless her. Find out how she even started dishing it out without being able to talk. It’s like popping around to your mates house and her sisters there and you sit and talk about everything. Kate is very honest about life and her sister sounds like a wonderful lady to have by your side having your back. Honest, funny, the Amy episode is very good because again… very open, honest. Learn about Kate from her and not the media, you begin to realise how she is actually refreshingly honest and has been wronged by men like all the other women so you find things in common, like I said, it’s like popping round for a cuppa and chatting about life. Can’t wait for the haunted stuff! I love anything like that because I’ve lived that also. Well done but Kate for the love of god, let your mum talk! 🤣
