Very Helpful
This podcast is very useful shared learning. I particularly respect the independent specialist who discovers or digs out a winning strategy, and is keen to share it with other independent specialists. I believe the key is accepting that competition between ourselves is the minor and healthy threat. The threat is national companies masking the service they offer to look similar to the expertise we offer, and busy multi tasking potential clients, are not at fault for buying from nationals, we independents are at fault when one of our target client profiles buys from a national. Those who want to boast about only getting leads from recommendations are basically boasting about lacking ambition and only being confident they can sell what they do to somebody who already knows what they do. I think Andy wants our sector to prosper. Oh and just to ensure I have no friends, a trade association devoted to selling the benefit of guaranteeing big up front deposits, is not going to win target clients from national advertisers either. We will not learn new stuff while looking up our own arses x
