Andrew J. Peters, LCSW, is the director of social work programs at Adelphi University's Manhattan Center. He is also an adjunct professor teaching generalist practice, group work, and oppression and diversity. Prior to Adelphi, Andrew worked for 18 years at Long Island Crisis Center, starting as a front line social worker and later serving as a clinical supervisor, program director and the associate executive director.
