Description
Are women and minorities under attack? Is radio today’s weapon of choice? Host Kevin Ross of “America’s Court with Judge Ross,” returns for a special show featuring powerhouse lawyer and tv personality Gloria Allred and comedian D.L. Hughley.  The focus will be on Rush Limbaugh,  mainstream media’s perceived sexist and racist rhetoric, and the growing calls for justice in the murder of Trayvon Martin.   Ross will also have members of the Black Media Alliance (BMA),the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC), and various movers, shakers and public opinion makers.   Premiere Networks, which syndicates “The Rush Limbaugh Show”, recently told its affiliates that they are suspending national advertising for 2 weeks after Limbaugh referred to Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke as a “slut” and “prostitute.” Gloria Allred of the nationally syndicated television show “We The People” had this to say to Rush, “You may think that all of your misconduct disappears because you label yourself an entertainer. Well, we are not entertained - we are disgusted…" Comedian D.L. Hughley has a contrarian view. The film and tv star considers himself a staunch advocate for free speech, maintaining that Limbaugh and others should not be driven off the air nor should media companies be necessarily mandated to put minorities and women on their  stations.    “People don’t always have a vehicle to convey their perspective," says Ross "I have a lot to say about Rush and the Trayvon Martin matter. Don't miss it!”
