Dolores Claiborne with Mike Flanagan
Listen now
Description
It took us a while, but we finally get to cover Dolores Claiborne thanks to writer/director Mike Flanagan. It only makes sense that Flanagan be the one to break this title in since this is the sister story to Gerald's Game, which Flanagan triumphantly adapted for Netflix. We talk about the book, the 1995 Taylor Sheridan adaptation, why the extremely good movie seems to be forgotten by King fans, who has the most convincing Maine accent, how and why Gerald's Game is tied so directly to this story, and yes, we even get some updates about his in-the-works King adaptations The Life of Chuck and The Dark Tower.
