Goes Way Beyond Genre Discussions
Seen some reviews that take issues with some of the divergent discussions that have happened (I can see a certain segment frothing at the mouth over Brian Fuller’s comments on Christine, for example) but for me that’s part of what makes this podcast so, so good. It’s not just a look at King’s books and movies, it’s through the lens of the individual guests and, like any good critical approach, what they bring to the table. Also, the Lawnmower Man episode was honestly the funniest thing I’ve listened to in over a decade.

It’s only one episode, but already I’m feeling the need for way more structure and context. It’d be nice to get a synopsis of the book, when it was released, where it falls in the chronology of King’s work, etc. at the beginning of the episode.
