Description
We had some rough weather recently…I mean it’s ‘california’ rough but it was rough for us! Haha Anyway, it has sort of got me in a place of feeling like I just want to wear sweats and curl up on the couch and binge watch gilmore girls for the 10th time lol BUT I know that isn’t what God wants for me because then I will be isolated and isolation always leads me down a dark  path. I’m extroverted/introverted. I used to be all extroverted but as I’ve gotten older I’ve realized the benefits of quiet time! Lol BUT since that is only supposed to be a benefit and it’s not how I get refuled…i have to be very intentional about not getting sucked into my introverted side. So in the winter when my introvert is telling me to hibernate, I have to make an decision to make plans with friends and get out of the house on the regular! I’ll be honest…it’s not easy but I know that I need it! Ways to help-practical and spiritual 🙂  make a winter bucket list. I’ve talked about doing summer buckets lists in past episodes…but I only thought of a winter one when researching about this topic!Try to get outside anytime the sun peeks it’s head out! Even if it’s just for  a few minutes…Better sleep, reduces anxiety and depression, immunity, stronger bones, lowers blood pressure, gives energy! So wrap yourself in a blanket or parka and get in the sun!Spend quality time with Jesus and ask Him for direction on how to bring the joy or people into your everyday during this season.Keep pressing on friend! Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we[a] have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we[b] boast in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we[c] also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
