Bruce and Ju-Chan Fulton have translated numerous works of modern Korean fiction. They have received awards and critical acclaim for their translations of Korean fiction, including Words of Farewell: Stories by Korean Women Writers. They were awarded the first National Endowment for the Arts Translation Fellowship for a Korean literary work, as well as an American PEN Hein Translation Grant for One Left.
