Kinda sad.
I LOVE Kurt, he’s one of the greatest wrestlers ever and I have a ton of respect for him. When it comes to his podcast, it’s a lot like watching his last run in WWE: just kind of sad. You remember what I’m talking about, right? Short matches where it looked like he could barely move? It was sad to see knowing what he used to be capable of. This podcast features Angle recalling past events he was a part of. As you listen to Kurt recall events, it’s evident he can only remember in very broad strokes. Which happens, of course, but he plays it off as if it he remembers it well. Conrad will bring up something, and Kurt will almost repeat it back to him and that’s his way of giving his take on things. It doesn’t apply to all things and sometimes he does remember things of his past, but it’s just… kinda sad to listen to Kurt not remember or sometimes make up things. I think he means well, but it makes the podcast, for me, unlistenable. I have too much respect for Kurt to give him 1 star, but I need to be as honest as possible, so I’m leaving a 2.

More reviews of The Kurt Angle Show
Conrad found the perfect formula and format for wrestling podcasts. Anything with his name attached to it is worth a listen.

I understand how these shows make revenue but good god are there tons of ads. It becomes particularly annoying when driving because it’s hard to tell when the ads end. Otherwise, this is a fantastic formula. Kurt is humble for someone who doesn’t need to be. Good stuff!
